We don’t know about you, but we use Skype every day as our office communicator. It has evolved over the years since its foundation in 2003 in Luxembourg. Now, a part of Microsoft, Skype stepped up its office game to a 54,000-square-foot for 250 employees in Palo Alto, California.
Innovation and functionality seep out of these walls, not to mention that they are acoustics perfection. So much so that the redeveloped space received a LEED Silver certification. The 16-foot tall ceilings, mobile white boards, and pods make Skype’s office truly unique. What really stands out? The pod conference room made of flavor oak sticks formerly added to wine barrels to infuse flavor! Now that is a sweet way to pay homage to California wine country.
